Meiner Ansicht nach eher für Professionals (Ärzt*innen, Hebammen ..., die Geburten begleiten), aber auch für Eltern kann es in ihrer Vorbereitung auf Schwangerschaft und Geburt hilfreich sein. Zitat S.8: “This book is a chance to broaden your understanding and ability to support those who birth and parent beyond the binary, and the world’s cis heteronormative.” Das Buch enthält eine längere Einführung zu LGBTIAQ, Pronomen, HRT und Misgendering. Es folgen Kapitel über Sprache und Annahmen vor einer Geburt, was sich in Geburtskliniken/häusern ändern sollte, intersektionale Diskriminierung, Neurodiversität, unterschiedliche Wege ein Kind zu bekommen inklusive Interviews mit mehreren Eltern, mentale Gesundheit, Stillen und Diskriminierung queere Eltern mit längeren Interviews, darunter eins mit einer schwangeren inter* Person.
