Hauptfigur der Geschichte ist die trans Frau Trina und als ihre Parterin mit Hilfe von Seep ein neues Leben beginnt, ist bricht Trinas Leben zusammen. Während sie versucht, wieder klarzukommen, trifft sie einen jungen Menschen, der einer der wenigen Seep-freien Enklaven entkommen ist. Dabei geht es nicht ums Trans-Sein als Thema an sich, sondern um Liebe, Entfremdung, Trauer und dass das Leben dennoch weitergeht.
