What are trans rights?
Are those the ones that demand bodily autonomy about one's own body?
Or the ones that grant a freedom of movement as everyone’s right?
Or the ones that shall protect everyone from intimate violence as well as state violence?
And are the ones that grant everyone equal treatment as well as equitable adjustments to everyone’s special needs, trans rights as well?
Are the ones that grant everyone housing, food and healthcare as well as physical, psychological and spiritual nutrition, also trans rights?
And what about the ones that protects (inhabitants of) the global south from the exploitation from the global north?
Do those rights even exist?
And: Which of those rights are the ones we are fighting for?
As individuals, as communities, as trans communities?
Which of those rights are centered in our communities as the most crucial ones?
Which ones are not considered important (enough), or secondary, or not even to be trans rights at all?
Do you believe, rights are meant to be for everyone?
Do you believe, the legal system is not working (correctly) when they don’t protect all of “us”?
Do you work for being included in a state organized, controlled and capitalist system?
Or do you work towards change?
Or both?
The thing is: rights are neither neutral nor free from (capital) interests.
Nor are opinions or morals.
In fact, morality is a class issue and so are opinions.
And most choices we make, and that we ground in opinion, morality and/or “neutrality” are a direct reflection not only of our own life experiences but also and especially our privileges.
And rights are not much else than an implementation of privileges.
So, what are we fighting for?
Or better: who are we fighting for?
I think, we need to ask each other more, who we center in our fights?
Are we centering the multitude of trans people?
Or are we trying to center a multitude of trans people around the already more privileged ones beyond us?
I have so many questions.

The stickers are square with 5 cm sides.
They are printed on 95µm white permanent adhesive foil, and have a glossy partial UV finish on the letters.
They have a nice soft feel and stick very well on especially flat surfaces.
They are meant to be spread not to be kept, but I do encourage to do so with love and only with permission from the owners of the destined surface.
